day 8 - Rafting, Anchorage bars

July 12th, 2005

We camped in a Glennallen camping. In the morning we checked out the pipeline.

We had to get back to Anchorage by midnight, because Szabi had to get on his plane.

Matanuska glacier

Feco and me decided to participate in a rafting trip..Yes Sir!

We were taken 15 miles upstream

We came down on the II, III, IV-class Matanuska river with Nova

The others visited the Independece gold mine in the meantime

On the highway back to Anchorage, we try to make fun with to girls in this car..
But I guess they did not like the jokes..:))

We spent the night in the same hostel as the first day.

We took Szabi to the airport and then went to check out the Anchorage bars, we started in the Blues Central

We went to Chilkoot Charlie's then, which is huge

Szabi had a nice flight home..
